Samara Felippo’s daughter suffers racism at school; students are suspended

The eldest daughter of Samara Felippo was the target of racism at the high-end Vera Cruz school, in São Paulo. In an interview with G1, the actress revealed that two students from the girl’s school tore up the teenager’s notebook and wrote offensive phrases.

According to the portal’s report, the school where the case occurred decided to suspend the two students involved in the case indefinitely.

In addition to the suspension, the two 9th grade girls were also banned from participating in a trip promoted by the school in Serra da Canastra.

Despite the measures, Samara Felippo stated that she wants the two students expelled. “I see no other alternative to a crime provided for by law and which the school insists on relativizing. Apart from the safety and mental health of my daughter and other black and atypical students if they continue attending school”, she declared to G1.

The actress also filed a police report and stated that she has not yet decided whether she will take her daughter out of school. The teenager targeted by the racist attacks is the daughter of Samara Felippo and former basketball player Leandro Barbosa, known as Leandrinho, who lives in the United States, and currently has two other daughters with another woman.
