According to the British portal The Daily Beast, King Charles III, 75 years old, would have had a significant deterioration in his health. The monarch is undergoing treatment for cancer, announced by Buckingham Palace in February. The sovereign ascended to command of the British Crown in September 2022.

According to a source close to the royal family, King Charles’ health condition is “worrying”, which is why Buckingham Palace’s alert button has been activated. The messenger detailed that the complications faced by the majesty caused his funeral schedule to be updated, running to hundreds of pages.
The dossier with details of Charles’s funeral was titled Operation Menai Bridge. The bridge in question connects the island of Anglesey to the English mainland. The Daily Beast contacted British military officials.
The agents confirmed the updates to the Operation Menai Bridge dossier, however, they considered it a standard protocol. They stressed “it would be absurd to interpret anything from this”. The portal also tried to speak to King Charles’ collaborators, but received no response.

What Buckingham Palace says
The palace announced this Friday (26) that the king will resume his public activities schedule next week. Also this Friday, Charles’ medical team praised the monarch’s “progress” in his cancer treatment and stated that they encouraged the king to resume his public agenda.
Despite this, Buckingham Palace said it is still too early to determine how long the treatment will last.
The king will reopen his public agenda with a visit to a cancer treatment center on Tuesday (30), according to a statement released by the palace.

Since the beginning of February, the monarch has remained away from public activities. It was this month that Buckingham Palace announced that doctors had detected a type of cancer in the king after prostate surgery. The king continues to perform private duties, making official orders and meetings with authorities.
— The visit to the cancer treatment center on Tuesday will be the first of a series of external engagements that Her Majesty will hold in the coming weeks — says the palace statement.
— As the first anniversary of the coronation approaches (in May), Their Majesties remain deeply grateful for the many kindnesses and good wishes they received from around the world during the joys and challenges of the past year — the note said.
In addition to the visit to the cancer treatment center, King Charles III is expected to receive the Emperor of Japan, Nahurito, who is scheduled to visit the United Kingdom in June.

Along with the statement, the palace released a photo of the king and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, during a walk in the gardens of Buckingham Palace in early April.
