Mani Rêgo, Davi’s former companion, posted a new outburst on social media about the controversies surrounding her relationship with the BBB 24 champion. The cook’s outburst was published on Tuesday night (23), the same day that Davi confirmed the couple’s separation.
“So many speculations and opinions only distance and sadden the people who are truly living this story. More and more people are involved, narratives (many of them unreal) are created and none of this builds anything positive. What I see is loss in all aspects: loss of peace, time, memories and, above all, respect”, said the Bahian woman.
Mani also complained about the judgments involving her and Davi’s personal lives. “All this seems to have no end. I sleep and wake up praying that everything calms down, but this issue continues to be discussed incessantly in the press and on social media. While everyone judges, as if we were in a court of law, or as if we were characters in a soap opera, real people suffer…”, he added.
The cook also admitted to having managed expectations about the relationship in the wrong way. “I do have a lot of doubts, perhaps I mismanaged my expectations as to what so much exposure would mean as a result of a program that reflects so many things in our daily lives and opens so many windows into our heads and hearts,” she highlighted.
Mani also commented that he will avoid controversies and will not attack his ex. “For those who expect me to throw stones at David, that won’t happen. For those who expect me to lower the level and resolve my issues over the internet, I’m sorry to disappoint, but I won’t do that. I will not quote, nor expose conversations, meetings… I will not feed spectacular narratives that have the sole objective of becoming a topic and hurting people. Only expect respect and hard work from me to take care of my family and those around me!”, said the Bahian, who ended her outburst by thanking those who supported the couple.
“I thank everyone who supported me, Davi and us as a couple. I thank everyone who took the time to support and encourage me. I will remain coherent and treat sentimental and private matters privately. Here I will only continue talking about topics that add to my life and my future”, she concluded.
