Actress Shannen Doherty, from Barrados no Baile, starts getting rid of belongings after terminal cancer – Zoeira

The actress Shannen Dohertyaged 52, is getting rid of her own belongings after being diagnosed with a breast cancer advanced. The artist, who became known as ‘Barrados no Baile’, pointed to the decision as a way to prepare her own mother for an “easier transition” when she passes away.

“I know it will be difficult for her if I pass away before her,” said the actress, who commented on the matter on the podcast ‘Let’s Be Clear’. According to Shannen, the aim is to make bureaucratic things simpler in the meantime.

“Because it’s going to be so hard for her, I want the other things to be a lot easier. I don’t want her to have a lot of stuff to deal with. I don’t want her to have four storage units full of furniture,” Doherty continued.

Recently, Shannen even traveled to the Tennessee, in the United States, to get rid of assets located in a property that he owned there. For her, the experience represented the “end of a dream.”

“I was packing [os objetos de] one of the places there. It was very difficult and emotional because, at a certain point, I felt like I was giving up on the dream of building this property, building a house for myself and another for my mother, and expanding the barn”, he commented.

A mother’s reaction, she explained, was to encourage her daughter not to give up on her goal and, therefore, not to abandon the work. However, the actress stated that she believes the attitude is “the right thing to do”.
