City Hall announces results of the 2024/2025 Participatory Budget – MUNICIPAL CITY HALL OF GUARAPARI

The City of Guarapari, through the Secretariat of Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Culture (Setec), carried out the 2024/2025 Participatory Budget between March 15th and April 5th.
The action was carried out online and also included the participation of residents of the rural region. 289 participations were recorded, the majority of which were female (50.7%) compared to males (49.3%). The neighborhoods with the highest participation were Ilha do Sol (18.7%), Recanto da Sereia (17.6%) and Village do Sol (8.0%).
The main axes of proposals were Paving and Drainage (46.7%), Sports and Leisure (14.7%) and Health (8.4%).
Secretary Edgar Behle highlighted the importance of the Participatory Budget as a democratic tool that allows citizens to express their needs. “This year’s digital version made it easier for people to access and participate. Prior planning based on registered proposals allows the municipality to take measures to meet the demands of the population”, he concluded.
