The City of Caçapava, through Epidemiological Surveillance, informs that the stock of the Covid Bivalent vaccine has been exhausted in the municipality, reflecting a scenario of shortages faced by the State of São Paulo.
Regional Surveillance, responsible for distributing immunobiologicals to municipalities, clarified that the Ministry of Health will start distributing the vaccine against Covid-19 produced by the Moderna laboratory, which is also effective against new variants of the Coronavirus. However, to date, a precise date for the start of distribution of this vaccine has not been established.
According to Epidemiological Surveillance, as soon as there is new information or the availability of Covid vaccines for the public over 12 years old, a new statement will be issued.
