A few days ago, the Brazilian model, who lives in Portugal, said that 12-year-old Dom wasn’t going to school. According to Luana, her son had been in Rio de Janeiro for 20 days and had not yet returned to school. Without mentioning names, she shared a screenshot of several people congratulating the surfer for his initiative to support the southern region of the country. Expert warns after Luana Piovani makes revelation
In an interview with DEAR Brazil, the specialist Monica Passananti, psychopedagogue and parental educator, warned against removing the boy from the school environment. According to the pedagogue, being away from school for 20 days could have negative consequences for Dom, as he is at a stage in childhood where there is a greater need for cognitive, intellectual, social and cultural development.
Furthermore, it is the time when children/adolescents come into contact with more complex content, deepening their repertoire and absences do not help during this period: “At this stage there is also the stimulation of critical sense, reflective attitudes, the formation of values and learning itself.
