David Brito, champion of BBB 24, is in Canoas, one of the cities affected by the rain in Rio Grande do Sul (RS), to collect supplies for flood victims. After obtaining, with the help of donations, a truck full of water bottles, he made a promise on Wednesday night (8).
“I’m here unloading a trailer of mineral water, but there’s a lot of demand. The state is in chaos, a real collapse”, described the reality show champion.
There, he spoke to a resident, who was not named, who explained that she needed supplies.
The brother then promised: “Tomorrow I’m going to bring a cart like this with a basic food basket. Today it was water and tomorrow it will be food.”
Shortly afterwards, Davi, who raised more than R$70,000 in the action, showed an almost empty warehouse and warned: “This warehouse here tomorrow will be full of basic food baskets”.

Davi said he is in Rio Grande do Sul (RS) to help the population from Rio Grande do Sul and doesn’t know when he will return to Salvador (BA).
According to the brother, in addition to collecting supplies, he is available to help with whatever is needed, such as cooking or first aid.
Data from the Civil Defense of RS this Wednesday (8) indicate that 100 people died as a result of the rains in the state. Furthermore, 128 people are missing, 372 injured, 66,761 in shelters and 163,720 displaced. In total, there are 417 municipalities affected and 1,456,820 people affected by the floods.
