From Brasil to the world! Bruna Marquezine has just walked the red carpet at the Met Gala 2024. This is the first time that the 28-year-old Brazilian actress has participated in the event, the main one in the global fashion industry.

Wearing a Tory Burch look, Bruna focused flashes alongside the designer and Uma Thurman at the entrance to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, where the gala is taking place. To complete the look, the actress wore Tiffany & Co. jewelry, one of the oldest high jewelry houses in the United States. The styling was designed by Dani Michelly.

Our star chose a platinum earring model with diamonds, on sale for R$1,271,000. In total, the piece has 14 pear-shaped diamonds, two oval diamonds and four marquise diamonds. In her hands, Bruna carried a platinum ring with a diamond weighing more than five carats and smaller diamonds, valued at R$1,820,260.

It’s worth remembering that Bruna is among the 450 guests of the night — all of whom underwent individual approval from Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue America and who has directed the Met Gala since 1995. Among the confirmed names are also Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth, who this year serve as co-hosts.

The 2024 Met Gala celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and the official dress code is “The Garden of Time.” The exhibition features approximately 250 rare items taken from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection. Spanning more than 400 years of fashion history, pieces include designs from Schiaparelli, Dior, Givenchy and more. Some garments that are too fragile to be worn again – such as an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth ball gown – are also displayed through video animation, light projection, AI, CGI and other forms of sensory stimulation.

Andrew Bolton, curator in charge of the Costume Institute, added that the exhibition is shaped around three main “zones” – Land, Sea and Sky – that pay homage to the natural world. “It’s an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” he said.
