Chris Flowers is no longer a presenter SBT after seven years, as announced on April 19th. The decision was taken in common agreement with the broadcaster Silvio Santos. This Thursday, the 25th, the presenter opened up about the subject on her Instagram.

“About my departure from SBT… Cycles end… with love and gratitude, I thank you for everything I experienced, for the opportunities, affection and professional respect with which I was treated. For the love of you who follow my professional life, allowing me to achieve so many achievements”, he began.
“Understanding our limits is important and necessary. And putting them into practice is an ethical attitude towards ourselves and others. Knowing when to leave is as important as being ready for arrival”, he added.
The journalist highlighted that it is necessary to “have courage and honesty to understand when something comes to an end”. “And understand that an end is not necessarily something negative. It is necessary to finish to have a fresh start”, she reflected.
Chris also stated that maturity brings the understanding that “knowing what we don’t want is perhaps more important than knowing what we do want.” “And what’s not good for us doesn’t mean it’s bad. It just doesn’t make sense to us anymore. We are neither better nor worse for it”, he clarified.
Finally, the presenter said she recognized and respected her past and experiences, thanked everyone at SBT, and highlighted that it was “a privilege” to work with Silvio Santos.
