Isabel Fillardis, 50, commented on tongue cancer. After facing the illness, she celebrated her return to the stage. The actress said she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to speak normally after two surgeries. “I was scared, because the cancer was malignant, but I was lucky to have discovered it early in the process. I ended up having two surgeries and was left without the left part of my tongue. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to speak normally, but thank God everything worked out.” right. I needed robust speech therapy work”, she said, in an interview with the newspaper O Globo.

She also stated that she intends to release an autobiography later this year. “I’m going to do my best to launch it in November this year. I write it myself, but there’s always a ghost writer who corrects it, takes a look to see if everything is correct, if there aren’t any errors.” (Folhapress)
