Claro’s beloved service has undergone changes and left many customers unhappy

A recent announcement shook the community of Claro users throughout Brazilrecognized as one of the main operators in the country.

The operator, which has won over a legion of customers due to the quality of its services and excellent service, has been undergoing changes that must be viewed carefully by customers.

In this context, Claro took the decision to end unlimited access to social networks in one of the operator’s favorite plans, Claro Flex, as of March 12th.

In short, only those customers who decide to subscribe to the Claro Flex plan from March 12th will face the new conditions, which could still affect millions of customers.

According to the portal Technoblogthe operator informed, exclusively, that the change is part of the annual portfolio adjustment, “always based on market studies, consumer trends and analysis of customer needs and perceptions”.

This decision reflects an ongoing trend among operators, who are phasing out unlimited social networks on their mobile phone plans.

Despite the impact of this change, Claro’s Flex plan also offers a series of attractive benefits, such as unlimited calls to any operator, including DDD, and a package of 500 exclusive SMS to Claro numbers.

What changed in the new Claro Flex plan?

In the new Claro Flex portfolio, customers have four plan options available, each with data allowances and specific benefits. Here are the main changes:

Plan from R$ 29.99: Offers a main allowance of 8 GB and an extra allowance of 2 GB exclusively for YouTube.
Plan from R$39.99: It has a main allowance of 15 GB, with an extra allowance of 5 GB for use on YouTube and social networks.
Plan from R$49.99: Includes a main allowance of 20 GB, with an extra allowance of 5 GB for use on YouTube and social networks.
Plan from R$59.99: Features the largest main allowance, with 30 GB of data, and an extra allowance of 5 GB for use on YouTube, Free Fire and social networks.

The applications included in Claro’s plan include several social networks, such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, TikTok and the old Twitter.

Finally, it is worth highlighting that WhatsApp continues to be unlimited on all plans, without deducting the franchise, including for voice and video calls.
