If the name Lamborghini refers to the strong roars of powerful engines, which take the sports car from inertia to 100 km/h in a few seconds, it would be difficult to imagine the brand delivering a plug-in hybrid SUV. Well, it happened.

The new Urus SE is a PHEV derived from the brand’s best-selling product. And if anyone thinks it will lack power, the model features a 4.0 twin-turbo V8, as well as an electric motor.

This electric engine delivers 191 hp of power and 355 Nm of torque. In the gasoline engine there are 620 hp and 590 Nm. The combined power is 800 hp at 6,000 rpm and the torque is 700 Nm from 1,750 rpm. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic,

With this configuration, 0 to 100 km/h happens in 3.4 seconds. The speed is 312 km/h.

The Lamborghini Urus SE has a 25.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. With it, there are 60 km of electric autonomy.

On the outside, the LED headlights have a daytime running light signature. The wheels are 23 inches. Inside there are two 12.3″ screens and four new driving modes: EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance and Recharge.
