The federal government launched a new initiative, called Believe, aiming to support the development of individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs) and microenterprises. The program presents a series of measures that promise to facilitate access to credit and help with debt renegotiation. This news explores the main axes and the expected impact of this policy.

1. Believe Program for CNPJ

Acredita was designed to offer more than just financial assistance. One of its main pillars, Desenrola Pequenos Negócios, aims to help entrepreneurs who have debts, allowing them to negotiate more favorably. Furthermore, ProCred 360 promises attractive interest rates and special guarantee conditions through the Operations Guarantee Fund (FGO).

Impact of Crédito on access to credit

Wellington Dias, Minister of Development and Social Assistance, emphasizes that the program aims to democratize access to credit. “The central pillar is to ensure that all Brazilians, regardless of their financial condition, can invest in their projects”, highlights Dias. The measure not only highlights financial support through competitive interest rates, but also facilitates debt renegotiation for small businesses, crucial during turbulent economic periods.

2. What are the direct benefits of ProCred 360?

ProCred 360 is especially significant for offering advantageous conditions in credit operations for small businesses, alleviating the financial burden and allowing greater liquidity in the market. Companies with annual revenue of up to R$360,000 can benefit from an interest rate combined with the Selic rate + 5% per year, along with the possibility of paying interest during the grace period – a considerable facility for growing businesses.

3. Eco Invest Brasil

Within the boundaries of sustainability, Eco Invest Brasil appears as a proposal to attract foreign investment with a focus on green projects. The program offers Exchange Protection for Green Investments (PTE), aiming to reduce the risks associated with exchange rate fluctuations, and thus encourage investment in sustainable actions with longer terms.

4. Future expectations for small business owners

With these initiatives, the government hopes to not only encourage local entrepreneurship, but also strengthen the national economy in general. The symbiosis between credit assistance and exchange rate protection measures for sustainable projects indicates a significant advance in the way economic development is encouraged in Brazil. Crédito, with its multiple axes of action, is a promise of renewal in the micro and small business scenario in the country.
