A total eclipse will be visible to people in parts of North America next Monday, the 8th. The phenomenon can be observed completely from the east coast of Mexico to the west coast of Canada, crossing part of the United States.
The information was released by NASA, the American space agency, which listed the locations where it will be possible to observe the solar eclipse. For those who are not in the upper part of the American continent, the phenomenon will be transmitted virtually.

Mexico will be the first location where the eclipse will become visible. According to the American space agency, the cities of Mazatlán and Torreón will be covered by the astronomical phenomenon.
According to NASA, the American states that can be used to view the astronomical phenomenon are Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Small parts of Tennessee and Michigan may also experience the total solar eclipse.
In Canada, some regions of southern Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton will be affected by the phenomenon.

How does a solar eclipse occur?
According to NASA, solar eclipses occur when the sun, moon and Earth fully or partially align.
A total solar eclipse occurs when the three stars are perfectly aligned and only those who are in the area generated by the moon’s shadow will be able to observe such astronomical phenomena.
The partial occurs in stretches where there is no perfect alignment and only a part of the sun is covered by Earth’s natural satellite. In this case, people outside the moon’s shadow area can only see part of the phenomenon.
