Chilean influencer Naya Fácil, 26, who has 2.4 million followers on Instagram, caused controversy when she published a video during her visit to Anne Frank’s house in Amsterdam, where the young Jewish woman hid during the Holocaust.
Naya told her followers: “I’m shocked by Anne Frank’s house. She had half the place to herself. She lived better than us”, comparing the place to the other neighboring houses.
The repercussion of the video generated a wave of criticism on social media and caused even the Jewish Museum of Chile to respond, contextualizing Anne Frank’s story in detail.
