In an interview with CNN, the Democrat said in so many words that his administration would stop sending bombs and artillery shells.
“I have made it clear that if they go to Rafah – they have not gone to Rafah yet – I will not provide the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities dealing with this problem,” he said.
In fact, the US had already stopped sending ammunition and bombs. “Civilians were killed in Gaza as a result of these bombs and other ways in which they attack population centers”, pointed out the North American.

Biden’s decision is “very disappointing”, says ambassador
Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, did not use irony or social media, but he was tough all the same. He stated that the North American’s decision is “very disappointing”.
“[Biden] You cannot say that you are our partner in the objective of destroying Hamas and, on the other hand, delay the means intended to destroy Hamas,” he said in an interview with Channel 12 News.
Foreign Minister Israel Katz also used the X to make it clear that “Israel will continue to fight Hamas until its destruction”. He did not quote Biden directly, but wrote that “there is no war more just than this.”
Bezalel Smotrich, Minister of Finance, was much more direct. “We must continue this war until victory despite, and to some extent precisely because of, the Biden administration’s opposition and suspension of arms shipments,” he released in a statement.
Even within the USA there were demonstrations against the president’s decision. Donald Trump accused his opponent of siding with terrorists.
