A group of climbers got stuck in the middle of a cliff on the mountain Yandangin the east of China. When they were climbing the mountain, they were unable to continue climbing and, as a result, had to remain attached to a fixed climbing route for more than an hour.

“That’s scary! Someone like me, afraid of heights, might just pee in fear up there!” wrote one internet user. “I wouldn’t go, even if they offered me money to do it.”said another.

What did the company say about the climbers’ situation?
The company responsible for managing the climb, Wenzhou Dingcheng Sports Development Co., Ltdstated that the climbers faced the situation due to an erroneous calculation of the number of people interested in the tour.
“Due to our miscalculation about how many customers would come, the lack of effective traffic controls such as a ticket reservation system, and deficiencies in on-site management, customers were blocked and trapped on the uphill route“, he wrote in a statement.
The company also said that it suspended ticket sales while they deal with the hospitalization situation, and in the future visitor traffic control would be implemented. The high number of climbers is due to the fact that this week is a public holiday in China, Labor Day.
