247 – Advisor for international affairs to the Lula government, Celso Amorim participated in a meeting of the Russian Security Council on Wednesday (24). Without mentioning NATO, the Brazilian representative says that the security system based on military alliances, in the past, led to war.
“We are also experiencing the return of the security system based on military alliances, which in the past led to war. Respecting diversity is a prerequisite for peace,” he said.

“Peace in a multi-power world requires a robust and legitimate order with international law and not a rules-based order with its foundation,” he added.
Amorim also warned about the misuse of artificial intelligence used to promote new victims in Palestine.
