“She is one of the brightest stars in the Brazilian TV constellation. She is tango, she is dance, she is the emotion that comes with music.” Thats how Pedro Bial announced the arrival of Susana Vieira in Conversa com Bial this Thursday (9). At 81, the actress released a biography, where she shares successes, pains, insecurities and projects. In the interview, she revealed that the book started before the pandemic, had to stop and resumed with the end of COVID-19:

“I rose from the ashes, from my own. I was a little afraid of picking up the book, of not knowing who I was anymore,” she said.

According to Susana, technical kisses did not exist. She was the first woman to kiss Tarcísio Meira on stage, besides his own wife, Glória Menezes. During the chat, Bial asked what the kisses were like, and the actress shared behind-the-scenes stories:

“What a shame I can’t give names. There are better and worse kisses. The kisses are real. Technical kiss is ugly. Tarcísio was the person who taught me how to kiss on the mouth, with Glória close, I was scared to death. What a wonderful man, how divine. He is the biggest heartthrob on Brazilian television. The worst part is not the women, it’s the men. They have the problem of being caught without being horny, in the sense of rest. And all the married people were stuck. Or they had an erection, and you ended up having an affair with the person. I don’t want to say that it’s everyone”, he commented.

When watching a hot kissing scene with José Wilker, Susana praised him: “My best traveling companion, he showed me that it was really fun. He brought me seriousness to the profession, he was a very cultured man.” And Bial joked: “And was he erect?” “Erect, yes. He was my best friend, best work companion.”

In the book, Susana praises relationships between women and men of different ages. And on the program with Bial, she reveals: “I have a boy in love with me, can you believe it? I’m amazed.”

She also recalled the end of her marriage with director Régis Cardoso and the work he had to do with him: “The man directed four of my soap operas, while he was separated from me. And I pretended that I didn’t hate him. It was the most difficult role of my life. He who left me was a fool. He took me off television, because at that time women didn’t work outside the home.”

Diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Susana Vieira spoke about how her vanity became: “Hair always makes me horny. My worry was if I was going to go bald, I think every woman has this concern. It’s a lot of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cortisone.”

Every six months, she undergoes a series of tests. On the program, she revealed that she is always accompanied and spoke about her children: “When my immunity is very low, I have to do immunotherapy. I was very worried about arranging a life for my children, but now I think that let them tidy up. It’s going to be a fight in that safe full of jewels,” she said, laughing.
