Rains in Rio Grande do Sul
The Civil Defense of Rio Grande do Sul reported that the death toll rose to 90 people. The state still records 131 missing and 362 injured.
The numbers are even more impressive when we talk about the people affected. There are more than 204 thousand people outside their homes. Of this total, 48,200 are in shelters and 156,000 are homeless. Nearly 1.5 million were affected by the storms in some way.
In Rio Grande do Sul, of the 497 municipalities, only 100 municipalities had no reports of problems regarding rain.
