Camila Moura, ex-wife of Lucas from BBB 24, reveals closeness with Xuxa’s rival

A photo recently shared by Camila Moura, ex-wife of Lucas Buda from BBB 24, caught the attention of her three million followers on social media. The influencer appeared alongside Xuxa Meneghel’s rival, businesswoman Marlene Mattos.

In an interview with Quem magazine, Camila said that she wants to present content for a female audience, such as beauty and empowerment, to separate herself from the controversy surrounding the end of her relationship. To this end, she says that she has been talking to Marlene Mattos about the possibility of agency.

“We are talking, maybe it is a possibility of agency, we are not sure, we are still talking. In the meantime, questions of agency remain directly with me. She is a very strong woman, with a track record in this gigantic market. We are getting to know each other, I think that is the term, but nothing is 100% closed yet,” she said.

Camila revealed how she approached Xuxa’s ex-manager. “We knew someone in common and she said: ‘Wow, I think you really need to talk, answer the market’s doubts about this issue of entrepreneurship’. And we talked a lot about that. She gave me a lot of advice about how to be a woman in this market, how to position yourself. She advised me, for example, to look for a public speaking course to be able to project my voice better, speak with better diction,’ she pointed out.

Marlene even gave artistic advice to Buddha’s ex-wife. “A phrase she said, which kept reverberating: ‘The women who made history were women who came from below’. It was something I kept thinking about. Really, women that we know, who made a mark in history, were generally the ones who had to fight hard to get attention, they came out on top. It made me want to grow up. This strength that people say I have, I really have, I can do it,” she said.

Xuxa and Marlene Mattos hadn’t spoken for around 19 years. Their meeting in the documentary – which aired in August 2023 – is a glimpse into the conflicting relationship they had. On the one hand, the former businesswoman claims to have done everything she could to make Xuxa the star she actually became. On the other hand, the presenter says she was treated like a “puppet” by the director and lived in an “abusive relationship”.

The presenter stated that Marlene could be arrested if she brought up everything the director did in the past and commented that she regrets having done things at her request.
