Itaperuna March 2, 2024

In a true plot worthy of the best television plots, politics in Itaperuna once again presents us with twists worthy of a soap opera script. While some enemies melt faster than ice cream in the summer, others seem to dissolve into the air like sugar in hot water.

The protagonist of this time is the former mayor, Dr. Marcus Vinícius, who seems to have swapped the politician’s manual for the Mexican drama primer. According to sources, he is the pre-candidate Novaes are on the warpath (once again) culminating in a true ‘political shack’.

The reason? Nothing less than money and influence. It seems that the political leader who financed Kadu’s campaign decided to call the shots and asked the boy to stay away from the then retired former mayor Marcus Vinícius. However, Kadu did not obey orders, thus losing his sponsorship and, consequently, some change in his pocket.

But the plot doesn’t stop there! Tatu, Marcus Vinícius’ “number one” pre-candidate for councilor, also decided to embark on other waters, leaving the boat adrift and already signaling a possible alliance with the situation. And to complete the Oscar-worthy plot, Dr. Marcus Vinícius is considering changing sides, bringing his wife with him as a pre-candidate for councilor.

Amid this circus of political horrors, the question remains: who will be the next to abandon ship? Will we have more twists and turns than twists in a Mexican soap opera? Only time – and the next chapters of this saga – will tell. Meanwhile, the show continues and we, mere spectators of this real-life soap opera, eagerly await the next episodes of this political tragicomedy.
