After being cast to play a younger version of the elf character Galadriel in the series The Rings of Powerthe actress Morfydd Clark He was frightened. In an interview with the portal “Omelete”, the artist revealed that she did not expect that she would be called to play the role of the younger version of the character.

When she received the news, the famous said that she was terrified and not knowing what to do: “When I found out I was going to do Galadriel, I was terrified, I didn’t even know where to start”, she said. The actress does not hide that she has been a fan of the saga since adolescence and that she felt privileged to be part of the cast.

Morfydd also commented on her participation in the series: “I went to read, listen and see everything I could, and at one point she [Galadriel] says that to gain wisdom is to lose innocence. And that was really helpful because she’s younger, but she’s not young. She’s old, and she’s going to get much older. She’s losing innocence where I start, and it was really nice to know where she was going,” she explained.

The new series based on the work of JRR Tolkien, The Rings of Power, tells a story thousands of years before the one told in his most famous books, “The Lord of the Rings”.
