Sedecti and Ciama discuss actions to implement the energy efficiency plan

The head of the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti), Serafim Corrêa, received, this Friday (26/04), the president of the Amazonas State Development Company (Ciama), Aluizio Barbosa , to discuss actions related to energy efficiency. The measures are related to containing expenses linked to saving electricity in state agencies. Secretary Serafim highlighted the importance of the measure and congratulated Ciama for preparing the plan.

“This fantastic work done by Ciama will result in avoiding waste, generating savings and reducing energy consumption, reducing the State Government’s bills in relation to this item. After Ciama, the work will be done here at Sedecti. Measures will be taken exactly in this direction”, highlighted Serafim.

The president of Ciama, Aluizio Barbosa, explained the existence of the energy efficiency plan and emphasized its importance for reducing public spending, highlighting the fate of its application for the entire Amazonas within the scope of state bodies.

“As determined by Governor Wilson Lima, Ciama prepared an energy efficiency plan that was initially implemented on its premises and resulted in savings of approximately 30% on the electricity bill. We spoke with secretary Serafim Corrêa, who brought this experience to Sedecti. We intend to take this measure to Sead and the Civil House to implement throughout the State, as determined by our governor”, ​​he declared.
