The 7-year-old boy who was in a vehicle, involved in an accident on the morning of this Friday, 16, at Access Grasel, in Santa Cruz do Sul, could not resist his injuries. The information was confirmed by the press office of Hospital Santa Cruz earlier this afternoon. He was identified as Pedro Henrique Mandler. His mother, Janice Fabiane Greiner, 40, who drove the vehicle, is hospitalized in the nursing home and has a stable condition.
The car they were in, a Honda Fit, collided head-on with a truck just before noon. According to the Military Brigade, the child was in the car seat, with a seat belt. Mother and son were rescued by a team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and taken to the hospital.
