PlayStation has been helping its users find new ways to play their PS4 and PS5 games in more comfortable places or in places that make life easier thanks to PlayStation Remote Playwhich now supports Android TV operating systems or with the help of Google’s Chromecast.

The news arrived today and is now available for download on the systems mentioned. PlayStation Remote Play is the application that allows you to play your games on other devices, such as cell phones, notebooks, Windows, Mac and PlayStation Portal, recently launched in Brazil, with the help of your console.

The idea of PlayStation Remote Play on Smart TVs is interesting and can avoid headaches when the television to which the console is connected is used by another member of a family. So, just download the app on another TV compatible with the Android operating system and easily use your video game on it.

Additionally, using Chromecast with Google TV covers more devices in different home environments. It is important to highlight that the video game needs to be turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device you want to use to mirror the console, otherwise it will not work.

Latency problems may exist depending on how far the video game is from the television you want to use. A broadband internet connection of at least 5Mbps is required to be used or 15, as recommended, for a good experience. DualSense controls or DUALSHOCK4 must be used when connecting the application.
