Samsung may launch the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra together with the Galaxy S25 line in early 2025. The information was confirmed by a well-known leaker this weekend.

However, the Korean company is facing a major dilemma regarding the device’s chipset, as it now has three options “on the table”. The first is to bet on the Exynos 2500 domestic solution to deliver a more affordable tablet.

In this scenario, the company would end up losing even more space to Apple in the tablet market, as the Cupertino giant is expected to integrate the M3 chip into its 2025 catalog.

Therefore, Samsung’s second option is to bet on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. In other words, the same SoC that will be used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

On the other hand, Samsung also has a third option being discussed internally: integrate the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chipset into the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

In this scenario, the device would be even more expensive, but the Korean company would have a much more powerful device capable of “taking over” the premium Android tablet market.

At the moment, sources say that Samsung has not yet decided which path to take, but that decision could be made in the second quarter of this year. As for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, the tablet will have a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED 2X screen and support for S Pen.

It can also bring cooling improvements, a higher capacity battery and adjusted cameras, as well as a series of AI features aimed at productivity.
