Realme 12 Pro Plus launched in Brazil with periscope camera and more; see official price

After a brief pre-sale period, realme now launched the new realme 12 Pro Plus 5G in the Brazilian market. The smartphone is now available for purchase and highlights its attractive finish, as well as a good technical specification with a periscope camera.

According to the Chinese manufacturer, the smartphone was developed with a design inspired by Swiss luxury watches and this resulted in a circular camera module on a back covered in vegan leather.

The screen is a 6.7-inch curved OLED with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz rate, and there is also a small hole for the selfie camera and integrated fingerprint reader.

To ensure good processing power, the realme 12 Pro Plus 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and works with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM.

In connectivity, the smartphone delivers 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Other relevant highlights include the presence of stereo sound and IP65 certification.

The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports fast charging of up to 67W, and the charger is sent inside the device box.

The operating system is Android 14 and it runs under the realme UI 5.0 interface.

In the rear set of cameras, the realme 12 Pro Plus 5G has a 50 MP main sensor (OIS), which is capable of delivering good photos thanks to a personalized algorithm in the software.

The ultrawide sensor has 8 MP (FOV 122º), while the highlight is the 64 MP periscope sensor capable of taking photos with up to 3x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. It also has optical stabilization (OIS), something essential for night photos.

Finally, the device has a 32 MP front sensor for good selfies in all environments.
