Announced last year, the PS5 version of DC Universe Online has just been made available on the console. Daybreak released a FAQ with some very interesting information about the game’s details.
“The native version of DCUO on PlayStation 5 can take better advantage of the system’s hardware for stronger performance, smoother frame rates, faster load times and runs natively in 4k. The game itself is identical to the PlayStation 4 version.”says the game’s official statement.

The game is also available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Steam. It’s worth remembering that your characters, account and purchases are linked to your PlayStation account. Simply log in with the same PlayStation account and all your characters and purchases will be available.
DC Universe Online creators almost made a Marvel MMO
Daybreak Game Company was also responsible for producing a Marvel MMO, an experience along the same lines as DC Universe Online. However, last year, the company announced the cancellation of the project due to “possible development risks”.
