O Athletico had the largest surplus in Brazilian football among the financial statements released to date. Furacão reached R$382.1 million in revenue.
The values were driven mainly by athlete sales, game revenue, sponsorships and naming rights. The expectation was that the value would actually be the highest in the country, as mentioned by financial director Márcio Lara during the meeting of the Deliberative Council for approval of accounts, on Monday (29).

According to a survey by OneTwo Sports, the data was confirmed. However, two clubs have not yet released their financial statements on their respective websites and were not included in the list: Youth It is cruise.
The Caxias do Sul team, which came from Series B, should not come close to Furacão’s values. While Cruzeiro will still have to review its balance sheet, especially after the club’s management changed from Ronaldo to businessman Pedro Lourenço. The official release will still take a few days.
Athletico even exceeds final value for CBF
Athletico’s performance was even better than the surplus values of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) in 2023. The highest entity announced that it achieved gross revenue of R$1.172 billion, but the surplus was R$238 million.
