Less than two weeks after announcing his departure from Cruzeiro, Paulo Autuori has already signed for another club. This Thursday (9/5), the professional was announced as technical director of Coritibawhich is competing in Series B of the Brazilian Championship.

“Autuori will be responsible for the club’s technical management and football methodological development, with the aim of integrating the work processes of all training categories with the professional department. In addition, he will act at the interface between the board, professional squad and technical committee”, informed Coxa.

Paulo Autuori, 67, from Rio de Janeiro, returned to Toca da Raposa in August 2023, with the role of technical director. With the bad campaign in the Brasileirão, he took on the role of coach in the final stretch of the competition, and helped the team stay in Series A.

In 2024, he returned to his old post, where he remained until April 28, one day before the sale of the club was made official. At Mineirão, after the game against Vitória, he communicated his decision to the press, made out of “loyalty to the project”.
