Brazil applied to host the Women’s Football World Cup in 2027. As part of the election to choose the host country, FIFA carried out an assessment of the stadiums that were included as stages for the games. A Neo Química Arena received a score of 3.8, on a scale that ranged from 0 to 5. With the score, the Corinthians stadium had the fourth highest score alongside Arena Pernambuco.

The survey was released by Itatiaia Radio. Arena Fonte Nova, Beira-Rio and Mané Garrincha received the highest score in the ranking with 3.9. The project presented during the candidacy of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) also has five other stadiums, such as Arena da Amazônia, Mineirão, Arena Castelão, Maracanã and Arena Pantanal, which were classified in the respective order.

In the report, all structures were well evaluated and some repairs to the lawn and lighting were flagged as necessary. The city of São Paulo received a score of 5 in infrastructure, where training and transport facilities were evaluated. The CBF will only be able to choose seven of the ten stadiums presented in the initial project. The idea is that the Neo Química Arena will host seven games, five in the group stage, one in the round of 16 and one in the semi-final.

On a scale of 0 to 5, Brazil received a score of 4, while its competitor, a consortium between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, received a score of 3.7. Voting will be held on May 17th during the 74th FIFA Council and after the count, the entity will announce the winner and the venue for the 2027 World Cup.
