Kelly Piquet was present at the Formula 1 Miami GP to support Max Verstappen. On her Instagram, she shared some moments from the weekend.
The daughter of three-time F1 champion Nelso Piquet arrived at the paddock in Miami with Geri Horner Halliwell (wife of Red Bull boss Christian Horner) on Sunday. Verstappen’s girlfriend was in Miami at the weekend to support her Dutch boyfriend, but ended up watching Lando Norris take victory. However, Piquet filmed the podium ceremony, where Norris was ‘showered’ with champagne by Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.
Later that night, like Norris and Verstappen, she was in a nightclub.
Piquet also almost filmed an incident with her boyfriend. In fact, a post of hers on Instagram shows a video of the start of the race, in which Sergio Perez almost knocked his teammate out of the race. In the end, everything worked out for Verstappen and Perez.
