Corinthians must count on “reinforcements” for the duel against Cuiabá, in the Brasileirão U20, next Wednesday. This is because William and Beto are on the list of those related to the confrontation.

According to the investigation of the My Timon, the defender and center forward are once again Danilo’s options for the remainder of the season. The pair were removed by the board and coaching staff in mid-April after an act of indiscipline, but were reinstated a week later. They were out against Juventus and Aster (Paulista U20) and América-MG (Brasileirão U20). The black and white club can make eventual cuts moments before the ball rolls, it is worth highlighting.

On the other hand, left-back Kaio Henrique, who was also punished alongside the athletes, remains out. During his absence, Denner, one of the jewels of Corinthians U17, gained space in the sector, which has the presence of Vitor Meer and Caio Garcez, one of the 29 academy signings for the season.

William and Beto were considered starters before their removal. The defender had been in every game so far before being replaced by Rafa Venâncio. The striker had his place occupied by Gui Negão, from the Under-17, and also by Laércio, the category’s main reserve.

The two athletes will try to help Corinthians get back to winning ways, after negative results in the Brasileirão U20. Currently in 15th place, Timãozinho hosts Cuiabá at 4pm, at Fazendinha, in the sixth round of the national tournament.
