Inter, Grêmio and Juventude ask the CBF to stop Brasileirão games
Palmeiras will donate all net proceeds from the clash against Athletico-PR, next Sunday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at Arena Barueri, to the victims of heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul.
Furthermore, Verdão will play with a QR Code on their shirt in the next two games to collect donations. The first match will be this Thursday, against Liverpool, from Uruguay, at 7pm, in the fourth round of the Conmebol Libertadores group stage.
– We are all devastated by the tragedy affecting Rio Grande do Sul and we will do everything in our power to contribute to the people of Rio Grande do Sul at this difficult time – said president Leila Pereira on the club’s website.
Donations through the QR Code will be sent to the NGO “Ação da Cidadania”. Below the code will be the NGO’s website.
