Acting improvised as a defender in the Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palacethis Monday (6), by Premier League, Casemiro was the target of much criticism in England.

Jamie Carragheridol of Liverpool and today a commentator on Sky Sportsevaluated and criticized the Brazilian’s performance.

”I said at half-time that he (Erik Ten Hag) would have to take Casemiro off. I think he should know tonight that he should only have three more games at the highest level and then go to MLS or Saudi Arabia. He’s getting older. The people around him have to tell him that this has to stop!”, he said.

”He’s too good a player to put himself through that. A man at that level shouldn’t be going through what he’s going through,” added the former defender.

Casemiro was dribbled in for Palace’s first goal, scored in the 11th minute by Olise. Afterwards, he was disarmed in the defense field and, following the move, the home team completed the rout.

The Brazilian scored two goals that were disallowed. One due to a foul by Hojlund on goalkeeper Henderson and the other due to his being offside.

In addition to Carragher, the newspaper Manchester Evening News he also did not forgive Casemiro’s poor performance and gave the player a grade of 2.

”So hasty and impetuous in coming out of defense to face Olise. Chased for the fourth goal. He got Dean Henderson’s only real defense”, highlighted the vehicle.

With the defeat, those led by Erik Ten Hag were even further away from the qualifying zone for European competitions next season.

The dream, however, can become reality. If they defeat their rival Manchester City at the end of English League CupUnited will be guaranteed a place in the Europa League.
