Journalist does not alleviate Tite’s stance before the match with Red Bull Bragantino
Before Brasileirão Série A games, it is customary for coaches to give interviews to the vehicle that holds the broadcasting rights. Last Saturday (4), before the clash between Red Bull Bragantino and Flamengo, the person who made statements for the red-black team was not Tite, but his assistant César Sampaio.
Mauro Cezar Pereira expressed his opinion on social media, highlighting that, in his view, the ideal is for the team’s coach himself to speak to the fans, and not his assistants.
— Tite no longer gives pre-game interviews!? Wednesday was his son, today César Sampaio. The fan has the right to hear the coach talk about the match that is about to start, not his assistants, wrote Mauro Cezar
On the field, the teams drew 1-1 at the Nabi Abi Chedid stadium, in Bragança Paulista, in the fifth round of the Brasileirão. After being at a disadvantage on the scoreboard, Flamengo managed to equalize with a goal from Bruno Henrique. At the end of the game, Mauro Cezar made three observations directed at the coach.
— Tite needs to help himself: 1. From La Cruz to his, further back. 2. Don’t have Arrascaeta? Gerson adds, select Lorran, Matheus Gonçalves, but don’t change the Uruguayan’s positioning. 3. Bruno Henrique with freedom to leave the edge towards the opponent’s area, like today, finished.
When will Flamengo’s next game be?
In May, Flamengo will face a schedule full of challenges, competing in three different tournaments. Under the command of coach Tite, the team will play matches in the Brazilian Championship, Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brasil.
