Yuri Mansur takes 4th place in CSI5* at Royal Windsor

This Sunday morning (05), Brazilian Yuri Mansur competed in the Royal de Windsor show jumping event, in Windsor, England. Thus, Yuri competed in the CSI5* 1.50m race against the clock, the Brazilian came fourth. The horse used to compete was Curiano Van Maarle Z Marathon, the course was completed in 58.13s, without any faults and just two seconds behind the winner.

Brazilian participation

The jumping equestrian competition in England started on Wednesday (01), and ended this Sunday (05). Yuri Mansur has been competing since the third day of the event. The first contest was on Friday (03), when the Brazilian competed in the 1.45m 48 CSI5* race The Pearl Stakes, riding Vitiki, he finished in 25th place. On the same day, Yuri also competed in the 50 CSI5* The Defender Stakes – 1.55m Jump Off race and finished in 20th place.

Last Saturday (04), Yuri continued competing, and came in 7th place in Race 96 – CSI5* The Defender Challenge Stakes of 1.50m. He later finished 14th in another contest, Race 97 – CSI5* Kingdom of Bahrain Stakes for The King’s Cup 1.55m.

Therefore, to end his participation in the competition, this Sunday (05), Yuri placed 4th in the CSI5* 1.50m time trial. That was his best record in the championship. Furthermore, the Brazilian finished 29th in Test 128 – CSI5* of 1.60m.
