Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda will have a great mix of colors in the car for the next Formula 1 race. In the Miami stage, RB will continue with blue, white and red, already present in the original livery of the VCARB01. In addition to them, the team will also adopt a petroleum blue, pink, orange and yellow gradient.
– Since the team’s launch in Las Vegas in February, we’ve taken big steps forward and are bringing fans on an exciting new journey. This incredible livery and the events surrounding its launch here in Miami demonstrate their commitment to the team and F1, and we can’t wait to see the Chameleon VCARB01 in action this weekend – said team CEO Peter Bayer.
The Italian team’s objective is to seek support from a younger audience that is present on social media. Already in Miami for the next stage of Formula 1, RB launched the new painting in the Wynwood district, known for its street art and the high presence of graffiti.
– One of the main discussions we had with our partners was that we want to reach this completely new, younger audience, which we are reaching through social media. It’s about racing, obviously, and we want to be very serious and focus on racing, but at the same time we want this team to be valuable, to have some entertainment.
Ferrari will also have a different livery for the Miami GP. The traditional red of the team car will share space with blue stripes on the sidepods, front and rear wings and the halo, the driver’s frontal protection in the cockpit. The change is to honor the Italian brand’s 70 years in the United States.
