The municipality of Palmas came in 1st place overall in the classification of the Children’s Games of Municipalities in the Southwest of Paraná – JIMSOP’s, promoted by the Association of Municipalities of the Southwest – AESUPAR. The competition took place in Chopinzinho between the 26th and 28th of April, in total 22 municipalities competed. The Palmense delegation was represented in Athletics, men’s and women’s Badminton, men’s Basketball, men’s Futsal, men’s Football and women’s and men’s Volleyball, totaling approximately 100 athletes.
