Six days after being removed from Fluminense due to acts of indiscipline, John Kennedy spoke out for the first time on his social media profile.

The striker apologized to his teammates, the coaching staff and the fans for his behavior “not being the best” and also stated that he “accepts all punishments.

At the same time, shirt 9 denied having participated in any concentration party. According to him, the news brought a lot of problems to his family.

“I come to speak out about the last few episodes. I know that my behavior has not been the best in the last few days, I know that both on the field and off I have not been delivering what is expected of me. I want to apologize to the club, the coaching staff, my teammates and especially the fans who always supported me but wanted to make it clear that I did not participate in the party in the gathering that was reported”, he wrote.

“This news ended up causing a lot of problems for me, my family and especially for my daughter’s mother, who is the woman I love. And this ended up bringing negative and unnecessary exposure to her. I made mistakes, I’m suffering, but I assume as a man that I am and I accept all the punishments that have been imposed on me. I promise that I will work and strive to regain the trust of all of you”, he added.
