Organized Vasco fans entered CT Moacyr Barbosa and spoke with players and CEO Lúcio Barbosa, this Monday afternoon. One of them broadcast the meeting live on social media. There was no invasion of fans.

– The planning was not followed to the letter with Alexandre Mattos. We will now do it with Pedro Martins. Let’s hire whoever we have to hire – said Lúcio Barbosa, in response to one of the fans.

Defender Maicon, one of the squad’s leaders, asked for the floor and spoke to the fans. He said that Vasco fans can expect more commitment, and now it’s time to “talk less and work more”.

– I always put my face forward. I take responsibility, I’m not afraid of anyone. I’m not an animal, nor a kid to hide from anyone. As I said in the locker room, for us it is a very bad moment too. Everyone here is a family man, so they are here to take responsibility. You can expect more commitment from us. We don’t have to say much, it’s time to do more – said the defender.

Pedro Martins, new executive director, was at CT and participated in the meeting with fans, alongside CEO Lúcio Barbosa.

In a tone of protest, fans demanded reinforcements for Vasco and the athletes’ posture. Some more excited people threatened players who were “going on a spree” in the streets.

– No more betting. We need players who arrive to solve it. No more betting. If you are going to bet, invest in the base. We need a Coutinho, an Allan, players like that – said one of the fans.
