Two more teams achieved ratings for the Super Club World Cup organized by FIFA. The competition will be played between June and July 2025 in the United States and features 25 of the 32 clubs classified.

Espérance, from Tunisia, and Mamelodi Sundowns, from South Africa, are qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup Super, which will have 32 participants and the first edition in 2025, in the United States. The two teams join Al Ahly, from Egypt, and Wydad Casablanca, from Morocco, as representatives of Africa.

Between June and July this year, FIFA expects 28 teams to be known for the draw. The nominee for the host country and the three remaining South Americans would still be defined, which will only be decided in November 2024.

FIFA management projects revenue of US$2.5 billion (R$ 12.4 billion) for the new Club World Cup. The tournament will be quadrennial and will have 32 participants: 12 from Europe, six from South America, four from North and Central America, four from Africa, four from Asia, one from Oceania and another representing the host country.

The clubs will be divided into eight groups of four teams, with the top two from each going through to the round of 16, and from there the clashes will be eliminatory, until the final.

In South America there are six vacancies, four for the last Libertadores champions and two via ranking. Therefore, whoever wins the 2024 edition will be assured, in the case of Atlético. Other Brazilians, such as São Paulo, Botafogo and Grêmio, can also qualify.

If Palmeiras, Flamengo or Fluminense is the winner, a third place in the ranking will open, which cannot be for Brazilians. Argentines River Plate and Boca Juniors are well placed.
