After making some loans during the week, the Santos there are still nine players training separately in “group B”, as it was called by president Marcelo Teixeira in a press conference in the middle of the year. These are the cases of goalkeeper Paulo Mazoti, defenders Derick and Thiago Balieiro, full-backs Pedrinho Scaramussa and Cadu and midfielders João Victor ‘Balão’, Kevin Malthus, Ivonei and Rafael Moreira.
Recently, Peixe loaned the midfielder Ed Carlos and the attacker Victor Michell to Betim to compete in the Mineiro II Module, the midfielder Matheus Nunes to the Centro Oeste SAF and the attacker Andrey to Inter de Limeira until the end of Série D. The quartet also experienced uncertainty. In addition, Alvinegro has another 24 players on loan.
Goalkeeper Breno Sossai, defender João Basso, full-backs Nathan and Lucas Pires, midfielder Matheus Nunes, midfielder Ed Carlos and attackers Tailson and Victor Michell will have their contracts finalized before the end of the season. The eight athletes may still return to the club indefinitely or be loaned or used by the main team again.
In addition to 14 other players who have ties with the clubs until the end of the year and will only return to Peixe next year. This is the case of goalkeeper Vladmir, defenders Messias, Luiz Felipe, Jhonnathan and Robson Reis, midfielders Rodrigo Fernández and Vinicius Zanocelo, midfielders Gabriel Carabajal and Lucas Lima, attacking midfielders Lucas Barbosa and Soteldo and attackers Lucas Braga, Fernandinho and Andrey.
Full-back João Lucas and midfielder Luizinho are ending their contracts with Santos along with their loan contracts and should remain free on the market. Exceptions may occur if the clubs that Santos players are loaned to want to acquire the purchase definitively.
