German press highlights Hulkenberg’s move to Audi

The German magazine F1-Insider published this Wednesday that Nico Hulkenberg It is Audi reached an agreement and the German will drive for the team in the next season of Formula 1.

According to the German publication’s sources, the relationship between the parties will begin next year and will last a total of three seasons. The contract was practically closed, with only the signature remaining.

The agreement is expected to be announced before the end of May. F1-Insider also adds that Hulkenberg could already race for Sauber in 2024, but Haas does not want to exercise an ‘early’ termination. When asked about the possible deal with Audi, Hulkenberg said: “I don’t want to get involved in speculation.”

Completing the team change and with Audi managing to take Carlos Sainz, two drivers will be available on the market: Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou. Zhou is attracting interest from other teams because of his links to the Chinese market, while Bottas is attracting interest because of his experience.
