Little used by Santos by Fábio Carille, striker Marcelinho has a verbal agreement with Juventude. The athlete belongs to Tombense and should have his loan bond with Peixe broken after the Paulistão final.
At 21 years old, Marcelinho arrived at Santos in 2024 with a loan contract until December, but was little used, even being left out of the squad in the last few games. Juventude’s idea is also to have him on loan until the end of the season to compete in the Brasileirão Series A.
The announcement should be made after the state finals, as the Rio Grande do Sul team is also in the decision in its state. Marcelinho entered the field wearing the Santos shirt on just five occasions, however, he only played around 110 minutes and did not contribute any goals or assists.
The striker had stood out in 2023 for some good performances at Tombense in the Campeonato Mineiro, Série B and Copa do Brasil. There were 46 games, seven goals and two assists. Developed by Palmeiras, Marcelinho also had spells at Vasco and Cruzeiro.
