November 4, 2023 was a special day for every Fluminense fan and being present at Maracanã was unforgettable. At the beginning of the year, Ryan Baptista made a promise with his best friend: they would go to all the club’s games in the Libertadores. This is how he and Fred D´Ávila closely followed the achievement of the unprecedented title. After winning the international competition, Ryan had the idea of immortalizing the special moment on his skin and tattooed the ticket to the final on his leg.

Tricolor gets tattoo of Libertadores final ticket

– As soon as the game ended I thought: I think the ticket represents the fan, so I’m going to record this and tattoo the ticket. And it will be marked on my skin for the rest of my life. – said Ryan.

But there was a problem. Ryan bought his digital ticket and only guests had the physical one. He needed a model to do the tattoo and put his data on. He, his friend Fred and his girlfriend started searching online for someone who had the ticket in hand to serve as inspiration for the tattoo until a friend of his girlfriend lent the physical ticket for Ryan to use. The tricolor had another idea to make the tattoo even more special. Changed the QR Code on the ticket to go straight behind the scenes of the FluTV final.

Fred D’Avila, who accompanied his friend in all the games, tells how much they talked daily about Fluminense to live the Libertadores to the fullest and how this helped bring childhood friends even closer together.

– Going to the stadium together, experiencing a passion that we also share together. We almost talked about Fluminense every day. Truly experiencing the Libertadores to the fullest. I think it really brought us together. – said Fred.

Ryan is confident in winning the Libertadores for the second time and has already made a new promise if Fluminense wins Glória Eterna again, despite him thinking he may have problems at home with his wife.

– I’m very confident. I think that if there is one man who will be a two-time champion taking this team from scratch to what it is today, it is Diniz. And then, well, maybe my wife will fight with me, but I’ll have to find space for Diniz.
