Fluminense signed a contract with a new master sponsor: Betano leaves and Superbet enters. The agreement provides for the club to receive up to R$52 million per year.

The agreement between Flu and Superbet provides for the payment of a fixed installment of R$42 million per season, according to UOL.
But the club can receive more, due to a variable portion that involves activations and performance bonuses. Thus, the contract could yield the Tricolor R$52 million per year.

The Fluminense board achieved a substantial improvement in relation to the contract with Betano, which paid around R$20 million per year.

The agreement between Flu and Superbet was first reported by Rodrigo Mattos’ blog.

Jump in values

Superbet already sponsors São Paulo, in an agreement that also reaches R$52 million per season.

This year, there was a jump in the values of master sponsorships, driven by new negotiations made by clubs with online betting platforms.

Flamengo, for example, closed with Pixbet for R$85 million annually. Corinthians said it will receive R$120 million per season from Vai de Bet.
