After a long and detailed study, the American company Solaray, a brand of supplements and vitamins in the USA, arrives in Brazil in great style, with a launch party at Copacabana Palace / RJ. Consolidated in the international market, Solaray is present in approximately 60 countries and has more than 900 items in its portfolio. In its debut in Brazil, the brand selected nine products, four of them totally vegan, to be sold in some locations. Drogaria Venancio, which currently has 102 stores, will start selling Solaray products exclusively in the state of Rio.

“The choice of Rio de Janeiro for the arrival of the brand was not by chance”, comments Francisco Lamy, CEO of Biowell America, the company responsible for the exclusive import and distribution of Solaray in Brazil. “Cariocas are very concerned about their health and well-being. In addition, the city is surrounded by nature, beaches, mountains, an inspiration for sustainability”, attests the CEO.

Owner and distributor of the FDC Vitamins brand in the world for over 70 years and for more than 30 years in Brazil, Biowell expects to grow around 35% with the arrival of Solaray. “The goal is to sell 200 thousand bottles of products by the end of this year and reach an offer of up to 50 innovative items”, highlights Lamy. Sales leader in the natural products market, Solaray has an average annual net income of 122 million dollars.

“Drogaria Venancio is always looking for the most innovative and assertive products for its portfolio, we are always looking at the national and international market to bring a differentiated mix to customers. And when we started selling Solaray products, from Biowell, a brand that is so renowned in several countries, made us very happy. Several factors and partnerships like this have made the network one of the largest in the country, proof of this is that we continue to lead some of Abrafarma’s most important indicators”, comments Armando Ahmed, president of the network.

Defender and practitioner of social responsibility, Solaray is a company attentive to the well-being of the population. The brand uses natural ingredients, in addition to being a company concerned with sustainability in all the manufacturing processes of its products. Also in July, Solaray products will be available in pharmacies throughout Brazil, as well as on shelves in some supermarkets.
